Sparrow uses PhotoImpact and its many painting tools and brushes to paint beautiful pictures. She specializes in painting tutorials. A great place for the beginner and advanced artist.
Software- Some Free Some Not
Ulead Products
Ulead offers PhotoImpact for editing and retouching photos. This application is great for making your own objects, web design and painting. It is a wonderful all around package at a very reasonable price. PI also provides Gif Animator 5 as a freebie application if you like animation. It is the best bargain on or off the web! Check out their other software while you're there. I have most all of them. There are tutorial and help groups all over the web for this program!
The Plugin Site
Harold Heims' site is loaded with commercial and freeware plugin applications that work with PhotoImpact and other graphics application. He also has loads of plugins that go with the freeware. His monthly newsletter often has link to new or updated freeware. His commercial products are also quite reasonable. Love his site and love his stuff!

This group gives excellent html lessons at no charge. By the time you are finished with the class your web site is up and running!
Bravenet
There are lots of good, better, best, and downright awful web site hosts on the net. I chose BraveNet because I had seen a lot of people in the groups that had been with them for several years. I translated those years into reliability and good service. They also gave me the most storage space and bandwidth for my money. So far I have no complaints.
